Multicultural Greek Council Members

 

alpha Kappa Delta Phi is an Asian-interest sorority with over 37 chapters nationwide. aKDPhi aims to evelop strong and successful women; members attend service projects benefiting the community, spend time with their sisters, and strive toward academic excellence.

 

Alpha Psi Lambda is a co-educational fraternity committed to fostering leadership and unity in the Latino community. A-Psi participates in many activities, both on- and off- campus.

Delta Epsilon Psi is a South Asian service fraternity whose primary purpose is to instill brotherhood, discipline and commitment within its members through various social and service driven endevors.

 

Delta Phi Omgea was established on the UH campus to promote the advancement of South Asian women. Delta Phi Omega has expanded to include 23 chapters and colonies. Delta Phi Omega is based on sisterhood, respect, loyalty, honesty ,and friendship.

 

Gamma Alpha Omega promotes the advancement of Hispanics/Latinas through higher learning and volunteerism. GAO strives for membership diversity, excels in academics, and volunteers for its campus and community. The sisterhood offers sincere friendships and memorable experiences.

Gamma Phi Delta is an organization of Christian men who have dedicated themselves to Jesus Christ and who desire to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially.

 

 

Kappa Delta Chi is made up of Latina women who desire to help the community while strengthening the bonds of their friendship. KDChi particpates in everything from mixers to philanthropy events and completes thousands of hours of community service each year.

 

Kappa Phi Gamma was the first South Asian interest sorority in North America and is built on the eight principles of character, leadership, scholarship, sisterhood, service, womanhood, culture, and self.

 

 

Lambda Theta Alpha is the first Latina sorority in the nation. Since 1975, the purpose of Lambda Theta Alpha is to provide a sisterhood based on the principles of unity, love and resepect. LTA aims to create a support group for Latinas in higher education, and unite the Latino community on campus.

 

 

Omega Delta Phi is a service/social fraternity dedicated to the needs and the concerns of the Hispanic community. ODPhi strives to promote and maintain the valus of unity, honesty, intergrity and leadership.

Sigma Lambda Beta was hte first Latino-based fraternity established at the University of Houston and values the principles of brotherhood, service, scholarship, and cultural awareness.

Sigma Lambda Gamma is the fastest growing Latina-based sorority with multicultural membership in the United States. Sigma Lambda Gamma commits intself to empowering all women of culture and promoting standards of excellence in mortality, ethics, and education.

 

Sigma Phi Omega is the third oldest Asian- American sorority in the United States. Sigma Phi Omega provides a base for lasting friendships and special memories and prides itself for its diversity in membership. Alumni have gone onto successful careers in business, law, medicine, entertainment, and education.

 

Theta Nu Xi promotes leadership, multiculturalism, and self-improvement through academic excellence, involvement and service.

 

Sigma Beta Rho was founded on Aug. 16, 1996 on the principles of Society, Brotherhood and Remembrance. While the founding fathers are of South Asian descent, the brotherhood is composed of numerous ethnicities and has grown to be an multicultural fraternity holding strong to it's motto: "Brotherhood Beyond All Barriers".
